It is a large, square structure with a plain exterior and an ornate interior. It has a bath, 15 metre square and 1.8 metres deep, surrounded by decorated corridors and projecting balconies. Some remnants of elaborate stucco work and variegated designs are visible on the ceilings of each day.

The current belief is that Achyutara Raya who was fond of water sports might have built the bath, and it was used by the women of noble families and occassionaly by the king himself.
