Situated Near Vitthala Temple , King’s Balance is a huge stone structure which resembles the shape of a big gate. A big beam of stone placed on two vertical and parallel pillars gives it the shape of a balance. Legend says that the kings and queens used to sit on one side of the balance and were weighed against precious gems and diamonds. These precious jewels were later offered to the poor peopleamong the poor. One of the pillars has a bas-relief depicting a king and two queens, possibly Krishnadeva Raya and his consorts.
